The purpose of Edugreen was visualized by Chloe Hughes during the modern climate movement. While scrolling through various social media platforms, Chloe Hughes found diverse solutions as to how everyone can preserve the environment. The only problem, however, was that there was no ultimate location to find these environmentally friendly alternatives. Chloe Hughes envisioned one online platform that contained sustainable alternatives that an individual could find anywhere in the world, and could also be accessed by anyone around the world.

Chloe Hughes set out to create a solution to this issue. Thus, Edugreen was created. Now, the goal of Edugreen is to provide the accessibility of environmentally sustainable alternatives to people anywhere in the world. Chloe Hughes and other Edugreen members hope that other individuals from around the world will join Edugreen in developing this international accessibility of solutions.
